Investigation Results

Blood tests are performed on a daily basis. Samples are sent to Beaumont Hopsiptal for analysis, results take up to 5 working days.

RESULTS CLINIC - Our Practice nurse operates a results clinic on a Friday afternoon. We will contact you via phone, sms or email with your results and relay any further advice required e.g prescription changes, lifestyle advice, the need to follow up with the ordering doctor.

If you have investigations performed by clinics or specialists outside of Raheny General Practice we do not get a copy of your results as they are returned to the doctor who requested them. 

Radiology reports take up to 2 working weeks to return to the practice. We ask if you have not heard from us after 2 weeks to contact the surgery via email on info@rahenygp.ie so we can contact the imaging provider.
